First Family Vacation to Sedona, Bumbo, and looking GQ :)

I was talking to Nina about how cute the Bumbo is! Giancarlo loves it even though I have to squeeze in his chubby thighs. Nina was like they almost recalled it because "idiots" were putting their babies in it and on their countertops...take a look at the pic! OOPS!

Giancarlo had his 4 month appointment and is 75% weight and 90% height...strictly nursing with 2 ounces of formula at night :) Future Bears player!

I caught Giancarlo sleeping in his swing and sucking his thumb! I immediately took it out and put his binky in. I sucked my thumb until I was probably six. I remember driving to Wisconsin and pretending to sleep while sucking my thumb the whole way. Craig says he sucked his thumb until second grade, and Lou Ann did too...uh oh! He's also been doing the rasberries, accompanied by drool! We love him so much! He smiles like a thousand times a day now!

So my cast is finally off...YAY!! My wrist hurts, and I can't bend it properly yet. I have exercises to do and it will eventually go back to normal. Happy Easter!! Happy Grandma Karen visit!! He's smiling ALL the time now...LOVE HIM!! Grandma Karen came to visit us! While she was changing Giancarlo she forgot to use the teepee peepee and guess what...GQ peed on her, in her eye, face, and she even drank some! HAHA...he loves her sooooooo much! I've also returned to work and it's been pretty good, especially knowing I leave him with Nana Annie :)

Today Maria's friend Kymm and daughter Kate came over today to visit and brought yummy cookies and cute gifts for GianCarlo.  In case you didn't know Maria has described her as the female version of me WTF?  In case you're wondering - I am a girl! Thanks Maria!!!!!  This will be Auntie Nina's last post since I am leaving tomorrow.  Its been great to be able to help Maria and meet the baby, its also been great to take Buster for morning walks! I wish I could see everyone all the time but I will just have to wait :(. Seriously, when are you moving home????????? Sorry Jeff!

Crazy Aunt

So I thought GQ felt a little warm this morning so Maria took his temperature and it said 100.3.  It was with a Vick's temporal artery thermometer which you run across the forehead.  She tried about an hour later and still got the same reading.  I told her to call the doctor just to be on the safe side.  To make a long story short he didn't have a temp when we were there and they told us anything up to 100.4 is considered normal for a newborn.  Maybe its better off I don't live nearby. Oh yeah, she returned the thermometer.

PS Maria removed my plea for help for her for the beginning of next week for all of those AZ friends!

Today Suzanne came over and did an awesome photo shoot of Giancarlo while I got to lay by the pool (yay for me!) Check out the pics below.  Maria had her doctor appointment today an was excited to have her cast put on but unfortunately the doctor said she wasn't ready yet.  Poor Maria has to wait 2 more weeks before she can get it put on.  I am leaving on Friday and then our dad is coming Thursday.

I am here in Sunny AZ, for those of you who don't know - you can thank me for this blog since I forced Craig to make so I could keep up with Maria's pregnancy and now of course GianCarlo! If you haven't already heard Maria has shattered her wrist while doing the hustle at a wedding. I asked why she was at a wedding in the first place...but let's not go there. Anyways, Maria had to have surgery on her wrist and now is the proud owner of two metal pins in her wrist, yay! She is getting another cast on Tuesday but I am glad to be here to help and most importantly meet my nephew. He's is so awesome and laid back I can't believe it. He whispered to me that I am his favorite aunt - he's so smart! Well enjoy the new pics and I'm here until Friday so I'll update nightly or almost every night.

Happy Birthday GQ!!

Happy Birthday Giancarlo!! Born February 11th, 2010 at 7:57AM, 7lbs 15 1/2 ounces, and 20 and 3/4 inches long :) We're all healthy and happy as can be! We now understand the immediate love parents have for their children and we can't get enough of him!

Thursday, February 11th 2010 at 7:30AM we welcome Giancarlo Querrey!!!!!!!!!

  My c section was moved up one day due to a big baby running out of room in my tummy :) GQ will be here tomorrow morning at 7:30AM! Craig will text afterwards :)
  I'm posting a last pic of my belly, the nursery, and the bellycast :) Next time I post I'll be a Mommy and I can't wait to meet my little guy!!

AZ Baby Shower

  I'm so fortunate to get to have 2 baby showers! I just had my AZ baby shower and it too was as PERFECT as can be :) We now have almost everything off our registry's from all of our generous friends and family!!
  I want to send an extra THANK YOU out to my sister's (Monica, Nina, and Dani), my Mom's, and Tammy and Melissa for hosting my baby shower's :) I apprieciate it more than you know and it meant a lot to us! You all did such a great job with making them look beautiful, good food, good times, and very fun games!!
  These are my AZ pregnant friends in order of due date! Speaking of due dates Giancarlo is still breech and running out of room so I may go earlier than expected. If he doesn't flip (he hasn't in the past 5 weeks) than he will be born February 12, 2010 at 1:30PM at Scottsdale Shea Hospital:)))))))))))

Chicago Baby Shower & Congrats Kelly, Max, and LUCA :)

Congrats Kelly and Max had Luca a little over 3 weeks early, they're all healthy and as cute as can be!!!!

My Chicago Baby Shower was as Perfect as can be :) This is a pic of us girls due in order starting with Kelly, Myself, Monica, and Amy :) Watch out getting pregnant is in the water!!

Jack Schultz is our Blogger Of The Month as Maria stands in the background cheering him on as our biggest fan. Jack has been our biggest fan other than Maria's family since we started the blog. We are able to track who visits the blog daily and Jack my friend you stand alone! Sooooo here's to you Jack, when little GQ gets old enough to dance, I want you to take him to his first ND game and show him how to WOO the ladies on the dance floor the way you are right now!

Hi everyone! While we were in Chicago we were able to get some beautiful 3D shots of little GQ :) He is as healthy as can be! My family had my Chicago baby shower the Sunday after Christmas. It was so much fun and so good to visit with everyone! Everyone was very generous! I'll post my Chicago shower pics very soon!
